Oklahoma Council Teachers of MathematicsWe are a state affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. The members of OCTM promote effective teaching of mathematics by providing teachers with resources, publishing newsletters and journals, providing professional development opportunities through our annual conference, and connecting members to each other and to information beyond our state. OCTM is also a member of the Oklahoma Math Alliance, an organization made up of member institutions committed to the improvement of math education across the state.This Oklahoma affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics has a 22 member Board of Directors and an eleven-member Executive Board. OCTM members meet quarterly and host an annual Mathematics Teachers' conference. OCTM has standing committees that members can join. The committees are awards, mentoring, public relations, professional development, and travel grant. Members of our organization are elementary, middle school, secondary, and higher education faculty who have made commitments to improve mathematics instruction for the children of Oklahoma. | Upcoming events
